Flash floods, 10,000 People Evacuated

More than 10,000 people forced to evacuate from their home in Jiangxi Province, east China, on Wednesday (07/14/2010) after heavy rains triggered flash floods and throwing water in three reservoirs.

"Torrential rains hit the northern area of the province on Wednesday morning. The rain triggered flash floods and making water in three reservoirs in Poyang County flooding," said the watchdog agency flood.

Workers are rushing to explore and expand the channels of emergency water to the region was lower in dams that flood.

Jiangxi Meteorological Bureau, Wednesday morning, issued a red alert-warning-the highest ranking heavy rain that occur constantly.
